The Way I Think

I try to give everything an equally "normal" out look. But the again, what is normal? So I suppose you could concider this a look into my brain, and how I break things down.....

Friends--

Okay this is how I see it. If you don't have friends, what good is your life? I mean really, if you don't have some one to talk to, and some one to rely on, then what are you doing? Walking around with your head in the clouds trying to "make it in life?" I've heard many people whom I believe to be "my friends" to be completely against the thought.... But you know what, even though they think they don't have friends, they do! I know everyone definition of a friend is different... but still. I define a friend as some one you can walk down the hallway with and carry on a good conversation with. Some one that you don't always trust (hey we're all human) but you can talk to about things. It doesn't even have to be some one close to you, maybe some one you just recently met can be the best person you could talk to. I know many think that would just be an acquaintance, but to me, if you don't have those people, you can never develop quote friendships. So, to all those people who know me, and doubt that I'm a friend, I don't know what to tell you, other than, If you talk to me in the hallways at school, your a friend. If you don't want to admit that you do have a friend in me, thats fine.... I guess, but I still concider you my friends!

Social Groups--

Here we go! This is one of my biggest things. I think that everyone is equal. EVERYONE! No exceptions to that rule. At Mercer County High School, this rule is nonexistant. Three major groups... Freaks, Preps, and Rednecks. Some of the smaller groups kind of have a faded line between two of these major groups. Frist off, it seems at times that the faculty at MCHS is convinced that all the "freaks" worship Satan. This is not true, definatly not true! And honestly, I don't know how anyone could even beging to think that they could make that judgment about someone. Personally, I wouldn't concider myself a "freak." But I do have friends who fall into this catagory, and they're not bad people at all. The second group would be the "preps" These are the people who drive expensive cars, and wear nice clothes which most of them bought themselves with the jobs they have. Alot of people think taht they have it made, their parents or grandarents buy them everything, again I have friends that fall into this catagory, and this true is very not true. I do admit that there are those who have everything they could ever ask for, but these are very few. Lastly, the rednecks. For the most part they're all good people. Some of them tend to be a bit country, a WAY bit country... which at times can get really annoying. But after all we are in Mercer County, so what is to be expected.
